Crow Wing County has adopted PulsePoint Respond. Pulse Point empowers everyday citizens to provide life‐saving assistance to victims of sudden cardiac arrest. Learn more about PulsePoint at: www.pulsepoint.org

App users who have indicated they are trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and willing to assist in case of an emergency can be notified if someone nearby is having a cardiac emergency and may require CPR.

If the cardiac emergency is in a public place, the location-aware application will alert users in the vicinity of the need for CPR simultaneous with the dispatch of advanced medical care. The application also directs these potential rescuers to the exact location of the closest Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

PulsePoint Respond is a 911-connected app that can immediately inform you of emergencies occurring in your community and can request your help when CPR is needed nearby.

Download Andriod App: Google Play Store

Additionally, PulsePoint allows our community to stay informed of emergency activity in real time.  Citizens are able to use this information on a daily basis to know when there is an accident on their commute, or if that smoke they smell is an approaching wildfire.
